About me

I have been a professional theatre-maker since 1989, have worked as a mime artist and director, and have been a professional actor since 1991; until 2009, I held permanent engagements at various German municipal theatres (Heidelberg, Dessau, Heilbronn etc.). Since 2010, I have mainly been heard rather than seen, as another passion became my focus: voice work: storytelling and reading, film and television dubbing, documentaries, audio dramas, audio guides etc. This work with the voice is fascinating; the fact that the spoken word alone can create a power and conviction, a performance that draws listeners into the inescapable spell of a story - is human and at the same time... magical.
