Sabine Lorenz

About me

Sabine has been performing on the theatre stage for over twenty years, captivating audiences with dramatic, multifaceted roles and understanding the power and fascination of resonance and presence. Her passion is for words and their sound, whether on stage or in the recording studio. Being able to reach people through words and the emotions they carry is a great gift, and she loves being an instrument for characters and good writing. With her warm, powerful and sensual voice, which can also be matter-of-fact, light, fresh, dramatic and witty, she lends her voice to documentaries, radio and TV commercials, corporate films, audio guides, audiobooks, audio dramas, explainer videos, e-learning courses, podcasts and anything that has words. In addition to voice work and acting, Sabine Lorenz also works as a writer: she creates stage adaptations of films and novels and, among other things, wrote the screenplay for her self-produced twenty-minute short film "anna inside/out", which she also directed and which won an award at the Damascus International Film Festival in 2009. Her love of words and their impact has also led to numerous literary events in the Lake Constance region, which now enjoy a loyal following of lovers of poetry and profound writing. And at heart she is a coastal pirate, sailing not only on Lake Constance but wherever the waves resonate perfectly with the boat. Just as her voice artist's soul seeks the deep resonance of words behind the microphone.
